Bible Study

Third Thursday of the month

7- 9pm

We have been looking at the minor prophets, we enjoyed the love story between Hosea and his unfaithful wife mirroring the nation's fidelity to God. We looked at the book of Amos and his message to a divided society where the rich were getting richer and the poor were getting poorer and thought about its extraordinary relevance to today.

Light in the Darkness

Jan - June

We are looking at themes of the book of Isaiah, a prophet who speaks comfort to a people living in exile. How do those words speak to us today?

From May we will be looking at the second half of Isaiah. We will do a quick catch up so if you haven't joined us and would like to, do come along.

Lost Things

July

Join us for a one off session on Luke 15 looking at lost sheep, coins and people.

Sister Teresa Brittain is a member of the Congregation of Our Lady of Sion and has a passion for the Word of God and Jewish Christian relations. Marie Pattison is director of Katherine House and thinks the prophets are some of the best bits of the Bible. They will be working together on this bible study.
