CAFOD Salford’s B.O.B. box workshops

Tuesday 3rd October | 2 - 4pm or 7 - 9 pm

Thursday 5th October | 10am - 12 or 2 - 4 pm

Come and find out how this unique, dual-purpose, bird nesting or bat roosting box is set to make a ‘global impact’ ! By the end of the work shop you will walk away with your very own B.O.B. box, made by your own fair hands !

We are called to look after our world and all the creatures in it, just as we are to look after each other and never forget or ignore the needs of the poorest people of the world. CAFOD Salford’s ‘Observer Ethical Award’ winning B.O.B. box gives us a real opportunity to connect with nature, by helping endangered birds and bats that are so important to our local environment.

And by making a B.O.B. box we provide much needed funds to help the poorest of people to have clean water and build sustainable livelihoods for themselves.

Together we could help to raise over £ 500,000 for CAFOD, as well as providing a special home for our indigenous bats and birds !

Steve Burrows is a member of CAFOD staff based at Katherine House, if you engage him in conversation lately he tells you facts about bats. Come along and let him tell you about BOB boxes and let him help you build a box. Places are limited so it's essential you book
