Holy Conversations

The last Thursday of the month | 7pm – 9pm

In Jan 2018 we will have the last of our sessions discussing the Divine Dance.

The Divine Dance : The Trinity and your Transformation

Drawing on Scripture, theology and the deepest insights of mystics Fr Richard Rohr ofm presents a compelling presentation of the Trinity As Divine Dance which calls for our participation.

“Richard Rohr is one of the great spiritual masters of our time.

His superb new book on The Trinity is vintage Rohr. The Trinity will of course always remain a mystery, but after reading Fr Rohr’s book you will experience it as a mystery that can and Will transform your life”

James Martin : Author of A Pilgrimage and Seven last Words.

The Divine Dance makes accessible and practicable the Christian traditions most surprising gift…

God as Community.. as Friendship ..as Dance

In February and March we will be looking at the some video and allowing it to prompt our discussion.

TRINITY: The Soul of Creation

Beloved authors and teachers Richard Rohr, Cynthia Bourgeault, and Wm Paul Young explore the Trinity as the foundation and template for the entire universe. Belief in a Trinitarian God is not primarily a Christian theological revelation as much as it is a metaphor for the nature of reality, both seen and unseen.

We find the pattern of dynamic relationship in the very structure of the atom, in our families, and in ecosystems. We observe this Law of Three at work in evolution and the way things change. It is a pattern of mutual giving and receiving: in a word, Love. If Trinity is the model for Creation (Genesis 1:26-27), then it is a relational, benevolent universe.

Rohr, Bourgeault, and Young believe the Trinity—fully experienced and enjoyed—has the capacity to change everything. We already participate within this dance whether we realize it or not. But when we consciously engage in loving communion, we open ourselves to being transformed at the deepest levels.
