Karen Openshaw runs a successful consultancy which offers coaching for leaders, 'The Listening Service' and introduction to mindfulness workshops. She qualified in person centred counselling in the 90's and went on to gain post graduate qualifications in chaplaincy and in Mentoring & Personal support. She has been Chaplain at the University of Bolton where she developed and co-ordinated the delivery of two successful interfaith courses for chaplains. She went on to be Chaplain and Church Leader at Oasis Academy at Media City UK. She meditates and practices mindfulness which she believes complements her practice as a Christian Woman living in the busyness of 21st Century Britain. A former trustee for the Sophia Network. She is also on the board of trustees for Fresh Expressions.
