Here is a poster advertising the programme, with an outline of our events on the back. If you could display this or give it out to friends that would be great. Perfect size for church notice boards. Just one piece of paper for giving out to folks.
Please let us know if you would like paper copies posted to you. Send us your address and tell us how many copies you can use. Or call in at the house and we'd be super happy to give you some copies
Our Spring 2018 season
One of first events this year is an evening Remembering the Holocaust. Our keynote speaker will be David Arnold MBE, whose family were among those who were murdered and those who survived. David's work to build friendships between people of different faiths is inspiring and we are delighted to welcome him to the house.
We will be offering a Lent Course on Tuesday evenings in Lent, 'Nothing More and Nothing Less’ is a lent course based on the film I, Daniel Blake. It uses the film to start discussion about our Christian response to suffering and injustice. Join us for discussion, prayer and ideas for positive action.
We hope we will have some fun with some more sessions to help you make a BOB box with CAFOD, saving the earth, helping birds and bats and people in need.
Lent is time for slowing down and becoming more aware of God in our lives. We have a Saturday retreat on the 10th March on the theme New heart, New spirit . For more about this and other retreat opportunities see our retreats page.
Our new group: Holy Conversations, carries on engaging with the divine dance of the Trinity.
Bible Study on the third Thursday of the month will be looking at Isaiah for the first half of the year.
